From a Pittsburgh zine by
Bill Boichel and Tom Grindberg.
Transformer was published in conjunction with Boichel's comic book conventions. These shows were called
Transfer and happened monthly in Pittsburgh during 1985. Grindberg would always be the guest artist. And he was
Transformer's house artist essentially. This comic changed my life. It was unlike anything I'd ever seen or read before. Add to that the guys making it were local - it just rearranged my thinking. I dunno if it'll have the same impact on you, dear reader, but I thought I'd share this one from the vaults.
